First public alpha

First public alpha, scheduled for November 15, 2026. Vector objects, boolean operations, holes, machine stitch preservation and a more coherent interface. Projects created with this alpha may need migration in future versions.

01 / Highlight

Editable vectors

Import SVG as vector artwork and convert between Complex Fill, Running Line and Column without losing geometry.

02 / Highlight

Machine stitches intact

DST, PES and EXP keep their original stitches when transformed. Split objects at thread cuts or long jumps.

03 / Highlight

Booleans and holes

Union, subtract, intersect and exclude, plus Complex Fill with holes and automatic borders.

  • 01

    Vector objects and SVG

SVG files are imported as editable vector artwork. Each object can be converted between Complex Fill, Running Line and Column without losing geometry.

  • 02

    Boolean operations

Union, subtract, intersect and exclude for vector objects, fills and Complex Fill.

  • 03

    Holes in Complex Fill

Holes with automatic borders and an Add Holes workflow for clean cutouts.

  • 04

    Machine stitches preserved

DST, PES and EXP imports keep the original stitch data and count when transformed.

  • 05

    Split machine objects

Split an object at thread cuts, long jumps or an edited node.

  • 06

    Node selection

Marquee selection, multi-node movement and alignment.

  • 07

    Constraints and snapping

Ctrl+click to constrain the axis while digitizing and Ctrl to rotate in 5° steps.

  • 08

    Liquid-glass interface and unified properties

Floating cards with a cleaner style and a coherent property panel for Fill, Column, Run, Text and Vector.

  • 09

    Versioning and manifest

Version policy, project format_version checks and latest.json manifest generation.

Changed

04
  • 01

    Save project

Only the base name is requested; AnyTa appends the .any extension automatically.

  • 02

    Default name

New projects are named design in every language.

  • 03

    Card shadows

Softer, more consistent shadows on floating cards.

  • 04

    Object menu

The context menu hides actions that are not available for the current object.

Fixed

07
  • 01

    Import performance

Stitch regeneration no longer runs when selecting or moving imported machine files; large files respond better.

  • 02

    Running Line outline

Conversion to Running Line traces the entire closed border.

  • 03

    Column dragging

The column follows the cursor without the initial jump.

  • 04

    Handles and selection bar

Entry/exit and the selection bar reposition correctly when resizing the window or panels.

  • 05

    Icons and QML

Fixed handle icons and QML boolean warnings.

  • 06

    Complex Fill holes

Clicking a hole no longer leaves the editor in a locked state.

  • 07

    Closed outlines

The last segment is drawn completely; the border is no longer left open.

What’s next

Work in progress for the next alpha. Full undo/redo, object organization, AI/MCP and integrated updates. Features may change before release.

01 / Highlight

Full undo/redo

A single stack for objects, properties, layers, threads and tool calls, with restored selection and a configurable limit.

02 / Highlight

AI and MCP

Integrated MCP server for Claude, GPT or local models to import, edit and export designs with canvas tools.

03 / Highlight

Integrated updates

Checks against latest.json, alpha/beta channel, release notes and automatic updates on all three platforms.

Planned for a future version

AI and MCP

Artificial intelligence (AI) features and MCP integration are in development and will be introduced progressively in future versions of AnyTa, once the core digitizing workflow reaches the necessary stability. Current work focuses on adapting models through fine-tuning, retrieving knowledge through RAG, integrating tools through MCP, developing intelligent agents, and structuring specialized embroidery terminology. These capabilities are not yet available in the current version.

    Layers, threads and objects

Create or delete layers, move objects between layers, change color or delete threads, and reorder objects with undo.

  • 03

    Integrated updates

Checks against latest.json with SemVer and alpha/beta channel, release notes, progress and SHA-256 verification.
